Company facts, verified data and downloadable images about BTR Enerji and its Solar Tracker Simulator, for journalists and industry publications.
About BTR Enerji
BTR Enerji is an energy company based in Ataşehir, Istanbul. It provides engineering, procurement and construction for ground-mounted and rooftop solar plants, single-axis solar trackers, cable tray systems, reactive power compensation and EV charging infrastructure. Its Solar Tracker Simulator is a free web-based engineering tool that lets investors compare single-axis trackers and fixed-tilt PV on their own land.
Key figures
- Across 12 provinces of Türkiye, a single-axis tracker yields a median 21.4% more annual energy than fixed-tilt at the same installed capacity.
- In the US Southwest the gain reaches 25.7% (Phoenix, Arizona); in Bavaria, Germany it is 12.8%.
- Konya (Karapınar), home to one of Türkiye's largest solar plants: +21.7%.
Figures are simulation results, not measurements. Method and all locations: solar tracker energy gain by location.
What the simulator does
- Users draw their site on a map; tracker rows are laid out inside the real boundary.
- Hourly PVGIS / Open-Meteo weather drives the annual yield of both systems.
- Bifacial modules, terrain-aware backtracking, wind stow and temperature, soiling and cable losses are modelled.
- Outputs: P50/P90 estimate, bill of materials and PDF report. No sign-up; English, Spanish and Turkish.
- An embeddable calculator with the data is free for other websites.

Frequently asked questions
Can we use the images in our publication?
Yes. The images and logo on this page may be used free of charge in news and publications with the credit "Source: BTR Enerji".
Are the figures measurements?
No. They are comparative simulations run with the BTR Enerji solar tracker simulator on PVGIS hourly typical-year data; the method is explained on the data page.
Can we request an analysis for a specific location?
Yes. For a story or research we can prepare a tracker vs fixed-tilt comparison for a specific location; just write to the press contact.
We deliver the whole project: feasibility, engineering, procurement, installation and grid connection, in Türkiye and abroad. Simulate your site for free first, then let our team prepare a tailored quote.
